DIRECTO is a seeder with a robust and reliable design, designed for direct sowing in stubble, in catch crops, as well as in cultivated and uncultivated soil. The unique disc coulter ensures stable sowing even in the most difficult conditions - with a large amount of plant residues or on overdried and difficult-to-cultivate soils. In one pass, the machine allows you to sow up to three crops or simultaneously perform sowing and fertilizing.
DIRECT SOWING
Direct sowing technology is significantly different from traditional methods of growing crops. Although it does not guarantee an increase in yield, its use helps to combat erosion and soil degradation. Reducing the number of technological passes reduces soil compaction and helps preserve its natural capillary structure. Vegetation cover on the field surface minimizes moisture loss through evaporation, and a well-developed root system helps restore soil structure.
DIRECT STAR
The DIRECT STAR single-disc coulter has been developed over several years to ensure maximum seeding efficiency in virtually any conditions: in stubble, in catch crops or in prepared soil. The row spacing is 16.7 cm, and the distance between the coulters in a row is 33.4 cm. Thanks to the downforce of up to 300 kg, each coulter efficiently wraps the seeds even in heavy soils. The minimum seeding depth is 2 cm.
FERTILIZER DISK
A special disc was developed for the DIRECTO NO model, which provides local fertilizer application under the seeds with a slight lateral displacement. The application depth is adjustable from 3 to 10 cm. All discs are mounted on a common frame, and the depth adjustment is carried out centrally, which eliminates the need to adjust each disc separately.
INCREASED YIELD
The fertilizer application disc places nutrients deeper and with a slight offset relative to the row. This method of application provides nutrition to plants in later stages of development and stimulates the formation of a root system in the lower layers of the soil. This helps plants to better tolerate moisture deficiency. Local fertilizer application also has a positive effect on the development of crops in autumn and improves their winter hardiness.
HIGH VARIABILITY OF CONFIGURATIONS
Different sowing options
The seeder supports several operating schemes:
• sowing seeds together with fertilizers through all coulters (Grain & Ferti) with a row spacing of 16.7 cm;
• sowing seeds and fertilizers through one row (Grain & Ferti) with a row spacing of 33.4 cm;
• sowing seeds through coulters with fertilizer application using separate discs.
The following operating options are also available:
1. Simultaneous sowing of seeds and fertilizers in one row with their mixing in the seeding tube.
2. Simultaneous sowing of two types of seeds with mixing in the tube.
3. Sowing of one type of seed when filling both chambers with the same material.
* For configurations with two distribution heads, it is possible to turn off half of the working width of the unit.
COMPACTING WHEEL
The DIRECTO NO seeder is equipped with smooth or toothed compacting wheels. The reinforced design ensures stable movement in a straight line. The pressing force is mechanically regulated, which allows for effective closing of the seeding row. The wheel installation angle can also be adjusted. The pressure is created by a spring, which is securely fixed and does not fall out during operation.
ALFA DRILL SEEDER
In combination with the ALFA DRILL seeder, the seeder can simultaneously sow up to three types of seeds or apply microgranular fertilizers. The ALFA DRILL 400 hopper has a volume of 400 liters. The material can be fed to the coulters, fertilizer discs or distributed between them.
PRESSURE-SEATED HOPPER
All BEDNAR seeders use a pressurized, hermetic hopper design. This solution ensures accurate dosing of even high seed rates regardless of the size of the seeds or fertilizer granules. DIRECTO NO is equipped with a two-chamber hopper with a total volume of 5,000 liters.
