The ACTROS RO GEN II combined cultivator allows you to perform two operations in one pass. The two front rows of large-diameter 690 × 6 mm discs ensure effective cutting of plant residues and their shallow mixing with the soil. Then, two rows of tines perform intensive loosening to a depth of up to 35 cm. The final stage is leveling and compacting the surface using a packer.
The combination of the disc and tine sections allows you to perform two operations in one pass. The large clearance of the machine, as well as the specially selected distance between the discs and tines, ensure effective work with a large amount of organic matter, in particular crop residues, plant residues or manure.
The ACTROS RO is equipped with hydraulic traction. This design solution provides reliable traction and efficient operation of the unit with the tractor. In addition, it improves the quality of soil cultivation, since the combined cultivator optimally follows the contours of the field surface.
The ACTROS RO GEN II combined cultivator is specially designed for working with large amounts of crop residues, for example after harvesting grain corn. The machine is equipped with two rows of large toothed discs with a diameter of 690 × 6 mm, which ensure high-quality cutting and mixing of crop residues with the soil to a depth of up to 16 cm. The distance between the individual discs in one row is 42.5 cm, which ensures high throughput and trouble-free operation even with a significant amount of crop residues.
In the ACTROS RO GEN II, each disc is mounted on a separate lever. The disc levers are made of cast iron. This design increases the load on each disc, contributes to better penetration into the soil and more efficient crushing of crop residues.
For long-term and reliable operation, bearings are used that are specially designed for operation in agricultural conditions. They are equipped with a double-row angular contact ball bearing, which is sealed by two static and one dynamic cartridge seal with four ribs, operating in a solid metal housing. The bearing unit is attached to the disc with six bolts.
Each tine is bolted to the main frame of the ACTROS RO GEN II without welding, using a solid bracket. This design ensures high strength of the brackets and the support frame. In the event of damage, an individual bracket can be easily replaced. The tines are securely fixed, so their geometry works within clearly defined limits without unwanted oscillations and lifting.
For intensive soil loosening, the ACTROS RO GEN II is equipped with two rows of ACTIVE-MIX tines. They provide cultivation to a depth of up to 35 cm. Thus, in one pass, the soil profile is simultaneously loosened to a considerable depth and intensively mixed.
The hydraulic tine overload protection system is the optimal solution for working on dry and heavy soils with a high stone content. The system has a release force of 660 kg.
When working on heavy soils at the end of the season or in extreme conditions, the rear packers can become clogged. The design of the ACTROS RO GEN II with an integrated axle and the location of the second row of tines behind the axle allows the machine to be used even in wet conditions. If necessary, the rear packers can be easily detached or raised. The integrated axle also improves the machine's maneuverability on the headland, ensures a smooth transition to the next working area and makes transportation easier.
The leveling section of the ACTROS RO GEN II, located after the second row of tines, can be equipped with two types of working elements. One of the available options is hydraulically controlled leveling discs. Simple leveling springs with mechanical adjustment can also be used, and hydraulic control is available on request. This section levels the ridges that form after the tines pass through and prepares the soil surface for further compaction by the rear packers.
