With a VSN camera, your sprayer can earn 5% more

Despite the fact that today farmers use automatic control over the use of the RTK signal, they still face the problem of trampling rows, and some of them even practice cultivating row crops diagonally, trampling 3 to 5 % of the crop... It was to solve the trampling problem that the Raven VSN™ camera was developed.

A camera for automatic driving allows you to move across the field faster, but without increasing the risk of crop damage. The operator can focus on the spraying process and possible obstacles on the horizon to reduce damage and equipment downtime, and not constantly catch a row with the fear of trampling the plants, concentrating all attention only on this.

It is enough for the operator to get to a row, drive a few meters for recognition, and press once on the widget on the monitor – then all the work will be done by the Raven equipment. The operator only needs to deploy the sprayer and to drive in new rows, and the system will automatically continue functioning without any additional clicks.

According to the results of testing the camera, experienced operators moved 6 to 8 km/h faster than they did during normal operation without a VSN™ camera. If you move 6 km/h faster with a 36-metre bar, this increases productivity by 20 hectares/hour. Of course, productivity gains will be volatile, but when combined with less trampling and less operator fatigue this is a win for everyone.
