MATADOR MO sowing machine™

The MATADOR MO seed drill is designed for strip sowing of crops according to the Strip-Till technology. The technology of strip cultivation with simultaneous sowing gives a completely new look at the organization of crops. The design of the unit is based on new agronomic and legislative trends of the EU regarding the minimization of herbicides due to mechanical cultivation of crops.
MATADOR MO are ideal combined seed drills that perform deep soil cultivation and sowing in one pass. The advantage of this technical solution is that before direct sowing, the soil is loosened in the strips of future plants and local precise application of fertilizers to the depth of the root system. Strip-Till technology provides such agronomic advantages as moisture conservation, anti-erosion protection, better warming and aeration of the soil in the strips, reducing the number of passes over the field, as well as more efficient use of fertilizers.
MATADOR MO is equipped with Active-Mix tines for active loosening to a maximum depth of 35 cm with the possibility of applying fertilizer to the soil profile or to the soil surface. The working tines are equipped with reliable hydraulic AUTO-RESET protection with a maximum actuation force of 870 kg (maximum lifting height of 30 cm). The tines can be equipped with 40 or 80 mm chisels in the LONG LIFE version.
The disc section is located behind the chisel section and is hydraulically adjusted. The disc section is used to level the soil horizon before the passage of the tire roller (suitable for sowing most types of grain crops) or vice versa to create ridges (this may be required for sowing rapeseed).
The MATADOR MO seeder is equipped with a two-chamber hopper with a total volume of 5,000 liters (40:60 ratio). Due to the hermetically sealed hopper, excess pressure is created in it. This technical design allows for dosing large amounts of material with high accuracy regardless of the size of the seed/fertilizer.
Behind the disc section is a tire roller with large diameter wheels (280/85 R20). The rubber tire roller is arranged in two rows (with an offset), with each wheel mounted separately. Independent wheel mounting means easy replacement in the event of a puncture. The two-row tire arrangement reduces the tractor's traction requirements. The roller has an excellent self-cleaning effect, and the seed drill operates with high stability.
The CORSA CN is a universal seeding section with a working width of 6 m, which is aggregated with the MATADOR MO seed drill using a three-point linkage. The standard equipment of the CORSA CN includes two-disc seed coulters with the PSP system (parallelogram mounting), which ensures high-quality and uniform sowing of the crop.
