Shaping a New Level of Efficiency

Titan Machinery Ukraine took part in two industry events - the “Conference of High-Performance Machinery and Solutions” organized by KUHN Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi on January 29 and in Poltava on February 5. The events brought together farmers, farm managers, and technical specialists around modern engineering solutions aimed at increasing field productivity, reducing costs, and implementing elements of precision agriculture.

Dmytro Sakunov - Product Manager for KUHN equipment at Titan Machinery Ukraine - presented innovative solutions in the segments of fertilization, soil cultivation, and seeding. In his presentations, he thoroughly outlined the capabilities of modern KUHN machinery in terms of increasing productivity and optimizing costs for farms of various scales.

KUHN AXENT 90.1 - Maximum Fertilizer Application Productivity

As part of the event, the KUHN AXENT 90.1 fertilizer spreader with a large hopper capacity of 9,400 L was presented. This solution significantly increases field productivity and reduces labor hours during fertilizer application, which is especially important during peak seasonal workloads.

The AXENT 90.1 provides application rates of up to 400 kg/ha at a working width of 36 m and speeds exceeding 20 km/h, and with the appropriate configuration - up to 50 m. This spreader is aggregated with tractors with a power output starting from 180 hp.

Key technological solutions:

EMC - individual fertilizer flow control on each disc in real time
CDA - stable and uniform granule feeding
VARISPREAD - section control and automatic adjustment of spreading width
automatic conveyor fertilizer feeding system.

Four weighing sensors, an isolated hopper suspension, and ISOBUS control ensure dosing accuracy and stable operation even at high speeds.

KUHN PERFORMER SELECT - Efficiency of Non-Inversion Tillage

Special attention during the conferences was given to the KUHN PERFORMER SELECT combined disc-tine implement, designed for non-inversion soil tillage technology.

Unlike many analogues, the PERFORMER SELECT provides more uniform loosening due to a greater number of tines and a smaller spacing between them. This design ensures uniform soil loosening, improves mixing of crop residues, and creates optimal conditions for crop root system development.

The implement performs four operations in a single pass:

Shredding of crop residues
Loosening and intensive soil mixing
Field surface leveling
Re-consolidation

The combination of disc and tine sections ensures versatility of application - from shallow stubble cultivation to deeper tillage. The machine requires approximately 100 hp per 1 meter of working width, which allows it to be used on farms of various scales.

KUHN KOSMA - Seeding Precision with Optimal Costs

In Poltava, a separate focus was placed on the KUHN KOSMA precision planter, oriented toward farms with 100–500 ha of row crops.

The planter is equipped with the proven MAXIMA 3 metering system and operates at speeds of up to 10 km/h. Its lightweight design minimizes soil compaction and ensures stable seed placement depth.
