Case IH's 2023 Axial-Flow® 150 Series is slated for updates to simplify operation and monitoring further. Upgrades include an integrated AFS Pro 700 touchscreen display for inputting machine settings and monitoring operational data and a new GPS receiver that improves signal reception, reduces operator workload during extended run times, and maximizes machine efficiency.

New integrated touch display AFS Pro 700: access to operating data and settings with the touch of a finger

On the 2023 Axial-Flow 150 series, the AFS Pro 700 touchscreen operator terminal is integrated into the right-hand console. It includes all the information previously available on the right-hand post display and AFS Pro 700 settings and monitoring capabilities. The AFS Pro 700 provides finger-touch adjustment and control of all primary functions such as reel, chopper, elevator, rotor, cleaning system fan speed, and combine drive speed within gear range, and additionally provides performance monitoring and AccuGuide auto-steering. It also monitors grain under threshing and losses from the rotor and sieves. It provides information previously displayed on a rack-mounted display, with data such as fuel level and engine temperature displayed at the eye level of the operator as he looks at the harvester, ensuring an unobstructed view of the cutting apparatus and reducing the visual strain on the operator. All information is grouped for evaluation at a glance.

The new faster correction signal receiver AFS 392

Case IH's 150 Series Axial-Flow combines also benefit from a new correction signal receiver that improves their autosteering capabilities, with the AFS 392 unit building on the proven performance of the AFS 372 receiver it replaces. The new receiver uses Galileo and Beidou satellite constellations to reduce signal loss and offers shorter RTX initialization/convergence times. It includes Trimble® ProPoint™, Trimble's fifth-generation high-precision positioning tool designed to provide position and orientation data based on a combination of GNSS signals, globally available high-precision correction services, and measurement data from a variety of sensors.

"According to user feedback after the first harvest with Axial Flow 150 series combines manufactured at our plant in Sorocaba, Brazil, their efficiency and reliability exceeded the established standards of Axial-Flow combines," said Massimiliano Sala, EMEA Product Manager, Case Combines IH.

"Bringing features from the Axial-Flow 250 series, such as the integrated AFS Pro 700 terminal, to the Axial-Flow 150 series will further increase operator comfort and machine productivity."
